I saw this, but could not find the author....I'll share it anyway..lol......
One Solitary Life
He was born in an obscure village, the child of a peasant woman. He grew up in another obscure village, where He worked in a carpenter shop until he was 30. Then for three years He was an itinerate preacher. He never had a family or owned a home. He never set foot inside a big city. He never traveled 200 miles from the place where he was born. He never wrote a book or held an office. He did none of the things that usually accompany greatness. While he was still a young man, the tide of popular opinion turned against Him. His friends deserted Him. He was turned over to his enemies, and went through the mockery of a trial. He was nailed to a cross between two thieves. While he was dying, his executioners gambled for the only piece of property he had—his coat. When He was dead, He was taken down and laid in a borrowed grave. Two thousand years have come and gone, and today He is the central figure for much of the human race. All the armies that have ever marched and all the navies that ever sailed and all the parliaments that ever sat and all the kings that ever reigned, put together, have not affected the life of a man upon this earth as powerfully as this “One Solitary Life.”

Christmas
Well, here we are at the close of another Christmas full of blessings and memories made. We try to read the story of Jesus' birth found in Luke each year and as I clean up from the Christmas activity, I am reminded of the part of the story where Mary treasures all the things and ponders them in her heart. I believe that is what I will do............:)

Our New Blog :)
Okay, yes I have had other blogs, BUT, I am gearing up to do this blogging thing and to do it faithfully.... though, not perfectly. I really would like to have a place, besides facebook, to share the goings on in our daily lives. Soooo, that being said, here we go....just my thoughts.....
It is just a few days until Christmas 2009 and we are so excited about this special season to focus our thoughts on the King of all Kings, who came as a babe and died for the world. Yes, we will exchange gifts and fill up with Christmas dinner and yummy treats, but my hope is that we will not ever be too busy or too involved to worship Him, in this season of CHRISTmas! I pray that each of you has a wonderfully blessed Christmas!!!
In Christ,
Julie
